Practicing is always the most important part of your lessons. Be prepared! Look at your daily schedule and plan when you can get practice time in. YOUR LESSON IS NOT PRACTICE TIME!!

How  you practice is also critical in preparing for your lesson.  When working through the pages identify the trouble spots, the measures where you always seem to have a problem.  Isolate that spot, slow it down and "loop it" with a metronome.  Then, plug it bag into the line it's on to see if you worked out the issue.
